Mufasa - The Lion King Movie Review
If you look at it, this story written by
Jeff Nathanson, is as simple as many Bollywood films, which have the usual emotions
like losing parents, love triangles, betrayal, and revenge. But, the
director Barry Jenkins, who won an Oscar for "Moonlight," has created
the jungle world in such a beautiful and grand way that you get lost in
it.
Barry gives the audience amazing visuals with his long shots. On top of
that, the jungle and its animals and birds come alive due to the
wonderful animation and excellent cinematography of James Laxton.
In the Hindi version, the voice of King Khan Shahrukh has given life to
King
Mufasa. Shahrukh's voice has a wonderful effect in romantic and emotional
scenes. Miang Chang who gave voice to Taka and Makrand Deshpande who
gave voice to Rafiki has also done a great job. Sanjay Mishra and
Shreyas Talpade's Pumbaa and Timon duo have not got much footage this
time.
Similarly, Aryan Khan and Abram Khan have also got very few dialogues.
One weak point of the film is its music. Even though it’s a musical
film, the songs fail to leave an impact. Still, this movie talks about
values, ideals, and hope, and it is a good movie to watch with Children.
